Hmmm : UITM Dynamic portal engine and content management system is DOWN

It's weekend here in "boleh"-land a.k.a My Lovely Malaysia. Most of the office are closed and of course the people 'running' 'em. Do a google on one of the most distinctive Uni in this country... to find more material for my research.... but.... arghhhhh.....



And this is what I get....

The connection was reset

moments. -please don't use temporary la guys... tried already few other times.. but still....

DISCLAIMER : This post doesn't intend to hurt anyone. Just a "friendly feedback" from your favourite visitor.... My task is pending because of this..... wake up guys...

If you're lucky, this cute taskbar 'call-out' won't pops out from your 'bar' but doing the VSTS profiling thingy really eat up all my resources and at the end... the process hang... showing nothing... doing i don't know WTH... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... all the way....

Yeah.. maybe it's because of running the ever popular memory-hungry VSTS performance tools with lots of options being tick... but hey, I'm opting for the minimum lorr... still got this issue huh? crazzzyy....



Triggered the magic ctrl + alt + delete keys altogether, kill 'em all....
If you like... send the so call error blabla to 'those ppl' at M$oft.. or just being the same old dude like we always be... Just don't bother to send..

Arghh.. ddd got 'redirected' to adbaaz WTH! : Advertlets domain issue

Doing a 'routine' check on the site and found out something crazy happening. Dudesdoingdotnet illegally re-directed to adbaaz-wth-wth... as usual, extra digging the web and found out that my other ads provider are making funny-yet-entertaining statement mentioning that they are facing some 'complication' bla bla with the domain renewal process.. hmmm... make sense?

Yes, you can use http://apps.advertlets.com (this is the beta login for Advertlets 2.0 and is mostly functional). Subdomains for advertlets.com are still functional, however, the main www.advertlets.com domain is affected.

Or, you can edit your hosts file: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (no file extension). Open up the file in notepad and put in this line:
202.46.116.100 advertlets.com

(Note that this is only a temporary fix)

..my solution (and few.. oops.. many others)... remove those ads for now.
